Flight to Nicaragua

Haiti’s interesting traditions and ways of life intrigued me very much. I cannot wait to see what Nicaragua has in store. Lake Nicaragua is the only place in the world that contains freshwater sharks. Sadly, I am not going to Lake Nicaragua. I am heading to the beautiful capital city of Managua.  Despite not being able to see the freshwater sharks, I might see some of Nicaragua’s other exotic animals  such as the American manatee, the three-toed sloth, and the giant anteater. The coastal part of Managua provides these animals with a tropical habitat. Before I boarded the plane to leave,  I bought some sunscreen and a hat because Managua is hot, but not as hot as the Caribbean coast. Luckily for me, I am fluent in Spanish, which happens to be the language commonly spoken in Nicaragua. I also plan to see a baseball game, because baseball is a very a popular sport in Nicaragua. I cannot wait to begin my adventure.
